HumP Dyddi Cyti is the outgrowth of a dream to produce ONE RECORD! After writing the bold anthem for every nationality, Colors, Mac Loving, Jr. wrote a haunting song called Changes. He made the mistake (?) of playing it for fan and record collector, Dee. At the time Mac was traveling the country with his band Back II Earth. (Remember, fan is short for fanatic)
Dee hounded, haunted and stalked Mac to release Changes to world. After the high expense of self producing Colors, Mac had no plans to do this. This meant nothing to Dee. Needless to say, it was released-along with eight other songs on the first Mystic Faith release-Soul To Keep.
Along the way though, is where the Cyti and the partnership between Mac and Dee began as MD 2-Sharp Productions, Inc.
Mac and Dee compromised and built the Mystic Faith Recording Studio, later renamed the HumP Dyddi Cyti Kreationz Studio( that's another story), to minimize expenses and have an avenue to kreate more masterpieces.
Mac decided that he liked operating a studio and limited his active performing for several years while he mastered the equipment and developed several younger artists, most notably, Maddness and S&L who released their first CD July 2001.
It was then time for Mac to return to the stage. (No rest for the talented.) Guess who's idea that was? Now who would think that a guitar player and singer should play and sing? Maybe a fan?
The release of the Wild Wild Records compilation, Welcome to My Folla, was also Mac's partial release to the performing world. He still can be found between gigs at the controls. Gemini Dee figures everyone should have at least two jobs to keep them out of trouble.
Mac's band, Back II Earth (founded in 1991) which had performed mainly at private corporate events since 1996, was renamed during the rebirth to Soul 2 Keep to commemorate the beginning of it all.
HumP Dyddi Cyti Kreationz is an independent production and management company, focusing on several groups and individual acts, targeting the commercial recording market and the eventual creation of an oral history library. HumP Dyti Cyti Kreationz offers the opportunity for the younger urban poets and artists to train in the field of both music and business.
The HumP Dyti Cyti Recording Studio is the home of independent recording labels, Mystic Faith Records and Wild Wild Records.
Mac and the studio has already produced several CD projects, a number of national product radio commercials and made inroads into the film synchronization industry In addition to the two labels activities, the studio provides recording, duplication and mastering services for outside companies.
The studio is a recording and mixing project studio with mastering capabilities. Digital upgrade has given us the ability to handle projects from inception to mastering and duplication.
Meanwhile. . .
The DAE Communications division of the Cyti supplies general office needs, provides promotional media, (print and audio), prepare posters, mail campaigns and press releases, event planning, office services, artist registry and booking service. (You didn't think Dee was going to get away clean did you? She has ink and Coca Cola in her blood.)
Come see for yourself what teamwork can do.
THE STORY CONTINUES
In 2003 Mac felt the urge to expand. He packed up the studio and his Soul 2 Keep Band and traveled to Las Vegas where he established HumP Dyddi Cyti West. He’s performing in the Vegas area, traveling the country to perform, recording the Vegas talent and Chicagoans that followed him for his quality work, and working in a consultant capacity in the radio field.
Wild Wild Records continues to operate out of HumP Dyddi Cyti in Chicago, but of course they need to travel to Las Vegas for the master’s expertise and a good excuse to work in year round heat.
Dee has been holding down the fort in Chicago and keeping the airlines happy traveling betwix and between. DAE Communications expanded to do more event planning, book editing, facilitating heritage seminars and working on special projects with non- profits and heritage related venues. After spending a year on the production plans of the 2005 South Shore 10th anniversary, Juneteenth event, and helping to create a 19th century heritage exhibit, that 120 degree weather in Vegas started calling her too.
Stay tuned for the next chapter.

Thanks for sticking with us
We're starting our second decade in business!
The temperature reached 124 last summer and it snowed in Vegas last night. In other words, Dee hit Vegas and everything is blowing up and hitting the fan.
Mac just finished a new cd. Dee is building a new component on DAE Communications. Geo from Wild Wild is camping in while he creates his new CD.
